Re: ocaml crosscompiler ?



I'm also interested in this.  In addition to cross-compilation for a
different operating system (e.g. Linux to Windows or vice versa), for
embedded systems you would like to cross-compile to a different target
architecture (mips, armel, etc.) and perhaps target C library (libc6,
uclibc, etc.)

Obviously the combinatorics are a challenge.  Rather than expecting
all the combinations to be in the Debian archive as binary packages,
perhaps it's better to aim for just one package that lets the user
configure and build the cross-compilers of interest to her.

A well-known example from the C embedded systems world is crosstool:
