Actually, I had "fixed" the problem in the svn by making the configure script recognize "GNU/kFreeBSD" as "FreeBSD", and since rpc-auth-local does not seem to be supported on FreeBSD, I just removed this module from the binary package.
(Just for curiosity) Could you explain why it is supported on GNU/kFreeBSD whereas it is not on FreeBSD? Does it depend on something on the glibc?
