Bug#460543: RM: ocaml-native-compilers/unstable -- RoM; no longer supported archs: alpha arm ia64
Package: ftp.debian.org
Severity: normal
Please remove from the alpha, arm, and ia64 architectures the
ocaml-native-compilers binary package: the OCaml native code compiler no
longer generates codes on such architectures. The current binary
package is thus inhibiting the migration of ocaml to testing (see
http://bjorn.haxx.se/debian/testing.pl?package=ocaml).
The following binary packages are compiled only if the native code
compiler is available in the above 3 archs, so need to be removed as
well from the very same archs:
- spamoracle
- libocamlgsl-ocaml-dev
- libocamlgsl-ocaml
- whitelister
- xara-gtk
- dag2html
d-o-m readers: if you're maintaining one of the package above please
check if it needs to be fixed package-side as well (it would mostly need
so if you have listed explicitly the architecture names in
debian/control, rather than using debian/control.in).
Cheers.
