So, Sam wrote the code, owns the copyright, but the Savonet Team, which Sam is
part of is the current upstream author. What's the issue there ?

Well, the last time I spoke with FTP masters, that was sufficient, though not
recommended. I will, of course, add it upstream, but I don't think it's
sufficient to reject the upload.
