ocamlopt (the native compiler) is not available on every arch, s390 in
particular. See [1] for a more detailed explanation. On those archs, the
bytecode compiler (ocamlc) should be used instead.

You might want to consider joining the debian-ocaml-maint team and use
our svn repository for freetennis, we'd be happy to welcome you.
