The non-latin1 characters in this line:

AUTHOR = "Matevz Pusti\v{s}ek, Dragan Savi\'c and Francesco Potortì",

have their accents ignored.  The result should be:

    M. Pustišek, D. Savić, F. Potortì

while it is instead:

    Dragan Savic Matevz Pustisek and Francesco Potortì.
