Maybe :

  - num: fix big_int_of_string (empty string) (PR#3483)
  - num: fix big bug on 64-bit architecture (PR#3299)

But i have some trouble in thinking that it could have an influence on
linking. big_int.cmi/cmx/mli is present in OCAMLLIBDIR, can you investigate
where this empty -I after mysql comes from ?
