Package: numerix-doc
Version: numerix: FTBFS m68k: missing Build-Depends ocaml-native-compilers
Severity: important
Justification: fails to build from source

Hi,

numerix fails to build on m68k with the following error:

sh: line 1: /usr/bin/ocamlopt: No such file or directory

ocamlopt is only available on archs with ocaml-native-compilers (although
its then in the ocaml.deb it seems). I suggest you add a Build-Depends for
ocaml-native-compilers to ensure the presence of ocamlopt.

Further the build seems to fail before that but errors get ignored:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

mv libmlnumx.a dllmlnumx.so lib/common

make[1]: *** [lib/ocaml/numerix.cmxa] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/build/buildd/numerix-0.19'
make: *** [build-stamp] Error 2
--------------------------------------------------------------------

You might want to check that out too before uploading a new version.
Maybe you can build a bytecode version for m68k.

This is fixed in the lastest upload, but I seem to have made a small error
in the changelog and this wasn't closed in the upload. Here is the
changelog entry:

numerix (0.19-3) unstable; urgency=low

  * Added dpatch 15_ocamlopt_detection so that the native code will only
be attempted on architectures that actually have native code compilers
    (Closes: #230944 #231775)
  * changed debian/rules to clean up the debian/doc directory in the clean
    target
  * changed debian/rules to cp the config.sub/guess into the config
directory where they are actually invoked from (Closes: #230945)
  * Added myself to Uploaders instead of doing an NMU per talking with
Sven
