"yminsky" (the other ocaml Bdb I have encountered is part of BDBFS,
http://www.eecs.harvard.edu/~stein/bdbfs/). It wasn't clear to me which is
more frequently used; if you think ocaml-bdb and libbdb-ocaml{,-dev} are
sufficient, I will do it that way.

I believe that I have fixed these bugs (the upstream doesn't handle the case
that ocamlopt is absent, so I had to do some surgery on the build system),
but encountered a change in linking against ocaml-nums which I haven't gotten
back to debugging yet. One way or another I will check in a fix in the next
day or two.
