music-box - automated system for processing notes

WISHLIST

Introduction

Dear Debian Community,
I am writing to you with an idea that I believe can change the way we work with music. My goal is to create a universal tool that I call "Music Box". It is not just a program, but a kind of "hammer" that will allow musicians and developers to freely convert sheet music from one format to another.
I want any note, recorded on paper or in a file, to be able to become a source code for creativity, and not remain just an image. This will give a new vision and new life to both old and modern music.
The problem
Currently, converting sheet music is a complex and inflexible process. For example, to take a PDF file with sheet music and get a MIDI file for work in a digital workstation, you need to use several different programs, spend a lot of time on manual correction and face technical problems.
Proposed solution
The "Music Box" project is a fully automated system that will become a central hub for converting sheet music formats.
Goal: The note should be available in everything!
"Music Box" will take over routine tasks, allowing the user to:
Convert from anything: You can start with any format: image (PNG/JPEG), PDF, MusicXML, MIDI.
All in one: The project will automatically convert the source data to the universal MusicXML format, which will become the basis for further conversions.
Do anything: From MusicXML you can get any desired result:
PDF and images for printing and viewing.
MIDI files for working with virtual instruments and effects.
XML files for further analysis and editing.
We need to get from notes to a finished track with VST plugins. To do this, we want to set up automatic loading of MIDI files into programs such as Reaper, which are the standard in the industry.
Community request
I am not a professional programmer, but I am ready to be the initiator and tester of this project. I believe that the Debian community has all the necessary tools and talents.
Everyone will find something for themselves: The project offers tasks for everyone:
For musicians - a convenient tool for creativity.
For developers - interesting automation tasks.
For everyone - an opportunity to contribute to the common cause and make music accessible.
Let's make a "hammer" that can make anything out of nails.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response and am available for any further discussion.

Sincerely,
LAG
