For nm.debian.org, at 2025-06-29:
I support Roland Clobus <rclobus@rclobus.nl>'s request to become a Debian Developer, non-uploading.
I have worked with Roland Clobus on openqa.debian.net and related packages since
2021 and I consider him thoroughly competent and trustworthy, as evidenced by
the fact that I have granted him root access on the system that hosts
openqa.debian.net.
He has made significant contributions to the testing of Debian Installer and
Debian Live Images, and is AFAIK solely responsible for revivng the Debian Live
images that we now have available, and also for ensuring that those images are
now reproducible (which was a far from trivial undertaking).
You can see evidence of his contributions all over https://openqa.debian.net
where anything that includes "Live" in the title is down to him, and at least
half of the comments about failing tests are his as well.
He is also responsible for what can be seen here: https://jenkins.debian.net/view/live/
In both cases, the fact that those tests are generally green is evidence of his
persistence at both setting up the tests, and fixing the problems they discover.
These openqa-prompted bug reports were mostly reported by Roland:
https://udd.debian.org/bugs/?release=na&merged=ign&fnewerval=7&flastmodval=7&fusertag=only&fusertagtag=openqa&fusertaguser=debian-qa%40lists.debian.org&allbugs=1&sortby=id&sorto=desc&format=html#results
BTW I would also be perfectly happy to endorse him as an uploading DD whenever
he feels the need to have the right to do that.
In conclusion:
I have personally worked with Roland Clobus <rclobus@rclobus.nl>
(key 50554B33905D8FB1922446FE62C57C6AA61495BD) for 4 years,
and am sure that he can be trusted to be a full member of Debian, right now.
