I support Yifei Zhan <yifei@zhan.science>'s request to become a Debian
Maintainer.
I have worked with Yifei Zhan on SE Linux policy development and testing,
configuration of mobile phones running Mobian and Droidian, setting up
IMA/EVM, and preparing Plasma Mobile packages for Debian. I have worked with
him closely on FOSS projects since 2021 but have also observed him working on
other FOSS tasks for years before that. He has consistently shown good
technical skills and an ability to work with other people on large projects.
I often ask him for advice on technical tasks such as git branches and
booting unusual platforms like Mobian on ARM devices and he is helpful in
addressing those problems.
I have personally worked with Yifei Zhan <yifei@zhan.science>
(key 9284B15F1D56DD78BC1B62B157D77C19CCFD1EF8) for 4 years, and I know Yifei
