I've met Alexander for the first time at foss-north.se 2023
where he was giving a talk about packages Rust crates for Debian,
https://foss-north.se/2023/speakers-and-talks.html#akjall
and I learned a lot in that talk and enjoyed talking to him afterwards.

Then it happened that I became involved in sequoia packaging at
the end of 2023 and since them I've been sponsoring around 100
rust sources from him into unstable.

Those uploads were mostly all flawless and simple, however and
to be honest, I cannot how much this was due to debcargo... ;)

From what I've seen when interacting with him online as well
as at two other events recently I can say that I wholehearty recommend
and support him becoming a Debian Developer, uploading.

However due to the high amount of automation with debcargo I cannot say
that I'm confident in his ability to upload any (other) package (eg
non rust packages), so I'm honestly not sure whether I should formally
advocate him to be able *to upload any package right now*, however
I do trust him to know what he's doing, so in that regard I also trust
him to become a DD and act responsible. (eg I'm also able to upload all
30k packages in main and generally I don't do that. ;)

So long story short: I fully support Alexander Kjäll's NM application
and hope he'll be a DD soon!

Thanks for all your good work, Alexander!
