Adam Borowski: Advocate

For nm.debian.org, at 2024-01-23:
I support Adam Borowski <kilobyte@angband.pl>'s request to become a Debian Developer, uploading.
I have worked with Adam Borowski on mentors, and many other packages in the Debian archive
for years and I consider them as having sufficient technical competence.

I have personally worked with Adam Borowski <kilobyte@angband.pl>
(key FD9CE2D8D7754B78AB279BBD2C3B436FEAC68101) for many years, and I know Adam Borowski
can be trusted to be a full member of Debian, and have unsupervised, unrestricted upload rights, right now.

Back in the years, when I was looking for sponsors to upload my pet packages in the archive, Adam and
many other sponsors were so kind with newcomers, and they helped a lot going into the details
of Debian, and helping to make better packages in the OS.
For this reason, I really want a person with such skills, time and knowledge to be part
of Debian, regardless of what might have happened in the past or what can happen in the future.

I have to say, looking at mentors list in the last few months was a sad thing to do, without
his replies and his work.

Being a DD means also helping other people, and he really knows how to do it.
That said, sometimes people disagree, we all do mistakes, we all did mistakes
and we will all do again mistakes.
Forgiving is part of life, the most difficult one.

It's very important that we don't make the same mistakes twice. That's a big part of improvement. (Kirby Smart)
