For the past 20 months, I have worked with Alec Leamas on opencpn, libcxx-serial
and other packags.
As Alec's key, C145 7973 7987 1C08 2A9D FDB5 0A1D A713 4E06 8B4C was
only a 2048 bit one, and therefore unsuitable for the DM process, he
moved to his new key E2EA 41DC E2F8 A99A D17A 1E46 3A67 D5D9 66D1 5C5C.
His transition statment is available on the debian-newmaint mailinglist
with the Message-ID [🔎] Yn5v5lYVUPdMazde@isildor.loewenhoehle.ip>, which
I have verified and I have no doubt that the old and new keys are Alec's.
For his past work, Alec Leamas sent mails using the email address leamas.alec@gmail.com
which is the one they're using on nm.debian.org, and they signed their work and
email using a GPG key with fingerprint C145797379871C082A9DFDB50A1DA7134E068B4C.
I've made sure that they are able to decrypt encrypted messages sent to this key
and that they're able to sign messages with the same key.
Due to the long-term interactions we had, I'm convinced that Alec Leamas as they
present themselves on nm.debian.org is the rightful owner of both email
leamas.alec@gmail.com and GPG key E2EA 41DC E2F8 A99A D17A 1E46 3A67 D5D9 66D1 5C5C.
