Re: Judit Foglszinger: Declaration of intent

I'm not a DD, but I felt like I had to comment anyway.

This is my application as a non uploading DD.

Yay! I'm glad that everything was finally sorted out :).

I'm using Debian since 2005 and have attended all debconfs since 2009.
There I did various volunteer work, including
video, food, frontdesk, setup/cleanup.
Aside from debconf related work,
I've been co-maintainer of the file package for two years (2010-2012).

In the two years that I've bene at DebConf, Judit's work has always been
immensely valuable. Only counting volunteer tasks registered in Wafer,
he volunteered for a full day and eight hours at DC18. However, even
that number leaves out a significant part of the work he did, as a very
large portion of his work is "behind the scenes". I can't speak for
Video Team, but as part of the Registration team I think that Judit's
work is indispensable to DebConf.

I regard myself as a part of the Debian community
and lots of people encouraged me to apply as a non uploading DD.

Rightfully so, and I'm happy that you've decided to start the process.

For me Debian is, what society should be,
more democratic than my own country and open towards all kinds of people.
I'm happy to contribute to the project
and to find out to where my way inside Debian will lead me.

Good luck!

Taowa
