I've worked with him on Squirrel [1], for which he made the initial package, and Dwarfutils [2] for a couple of months now. I've seen several packages from him and I'm convinced that he's doing a great job. As an Informatikstudent he has a solid background, he's working clean and knows what he's doing. Dwarfutils was rather hard to work on, the package was outdated and there were a lot of security issues lately he's taken care of. I think he's ready and I would let him upload Squirrel and Dwarfutils on his own without any hesitation.
