I absolutely endorse Kunal's application for Debian Maintainer status. I've
been sponsoring and reviewing his packaging work of mediawiki (of
which he is also one of the upstream developers) and the two related
packages mediawiki-math and wikidiff2. He did an awesome job in
adopting the previously abandoned mediawiki packages and bringing them
up to modern standards. He even provides jessie backports (since the
old EOLed packages had to be dropped from jessie a while ago).
Changes to the Debian packaging are indiviually reviewed via Gerrit and
there was very little in those reviews which needed improvement, so I
fully support to make him a DM so that he can upload the mediawiki
packages on his own.
