I happily second that. Holger has been doing nice work for the german translation team for many many years and I was+am very happy that he "recently" started to contribute more to the "english originals" as well, especially in the d-i context. > I was surprised to discover that he wasn't DD and I was going to propose him applying for full membership, so I'm very happy he decided about this already, and I support his application. I was aware of him not being a DD because more than 10 years ago I asked him (who was+is holger-guest@alioth) whether it would be ok if I became holger@debian.org and he said "sure, go ahead, I never want to become a DD anyway", and so I did become holger@d.o (while I was h01ger-guest@alioth before). So today I'm very glad for two reasons: a.) that Holger is still contributing and now even wants to increase his involvement in the project and b.) that Debian has changed and is now open to people who 10 years ago thought they were not a good fit for the project. So, welcome, Holger & thanks for all your work so far & in future! -- cheers, Holger
