Hello, I hereby support Thomas Moulard to become a Debian Maintainer. I met him last summer, and later on, we exchanged messages about Debian packaging. I think that he has enough experience of packaging, as an uploader, more than a year. Here is a list of his activities in Debian: http://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=thomas.moulard@gmail.com We see that he proposed ITPs for some software by National Institute of AIST (of Japan) as well. And I know that those software have copyright/license issues to be Debian packages. He even contacted upstream author(s) to try to improve situation. I believe he has enough skill to package for Debian and he has enough knowledge about Free Software. Disclosure: I was an employee of National Institute of AIST in 2001-2010. --
