Dear Debian Front Desk: I hereby support James Page's application to become a Debian Maintainer. I have sponsored a number of packages maintained by James or group maintained as a member of the Debian Java Team. Specifically, since May of 2011, I have reviewed 25 packages that James maintains or team/co-maintains. A fair percentage of these packages were new, i.e. packaged from scratch by James himself. James has demonstrated more than sufficient technical packaging skills, an understanding of licensing and the DFSG, and a willingness to work as part of team. I gladly advocate his application. Sincerely, tony tmancill@debian.org On 10/03/2011 09:47 AM, James Page wrote: > This is my declaration of intent to become a Debian Maintainer > <URL:http://wiki.debian.org/DebianMaintainer>. > > I have read the Social Contract, Debian Free Software Guidelines and > Debian Machine Usage Policy and agree with all of them. > > Currently, I co‐maintain these packages as part of the debian-java team: > > * akuma > * args4j > * access-modifier-checker > * annotation-indexer > * bridge-method-injector > * jakarta-taglibs-standard > * java-xml-builder > * jcaptcha > * jellydoc > * jenkins-commons-jelly > * jenkins-commons-jexl > * jenkins-crypto-util > * jenkins-dom4j > * jenkins-executable-war > * jenkins-json > * jenkins-memory-monitor > * jenkins-task-reactor > * jenkins-test-annotations > * jenkins-trilead-ssh2 > * jenkins-xstream > * jmdns > * libcodemodel-java > * libpam4j > * localizer > * maven-antrun-extended-plugin > * metainf-services > * robust-http-client > * sezpoz > * tiger-types > * tomcat7 > * txw2 > * trilead-putty-extension > * zookeeper > > My GnuPG key A0E7D8C3 is signed by the Debian Developer Steve Langasek > <vorlon@debian.org>. > > I look forward to becoming a Debian Maintainer.
