Mathieu is working since three years very actively in the Debian Med
team as an expert for medical imaging. He has proven to do a reliable
job in packaging basic components this field were we really relay on his
expertise because medical imaging is one of the base columns of the
Debian Med project and we do not only need technical packaging skills
but also knowledge about medical imaging to be able to evaluate
reasonable targets for packaging as well as sophisticated tesing of the
packages.

Mathieu has worked on several basic packages for medical imaging. As
his sponsor of those packages I can confirm that he is doing a good job
and in the last time I did not had a lot to do rather than straight
uploading his work.

I'm completely happy if Mathieu would simply continue his good work in
Debian as he does now.

Mathieu is one of the most active posters on the Debian Med list and he
is known for giving reasonable advise in his field of expertise as well
as general hints how to fix bugs etc. I learned to know Mathieu last
year at MiniDebConf in Paris and I think he is nice and friendly and fits
well in the Debian community. I'd be personally happy if he would become
a DD soon.

Kind regards

       Andreas.
