I have worked with Frédéric on the Lisaac package and spoken with him about debian policy, and technical things thus I believe that Fréderic has the technical skills necesarry to be a Debian Maintainer. He is working hard on getting several things done for debian[1][2][3]. I support his application to become a Debian maintainer and I'm sure he will be a good gain for Debian.
