I’d like to advocate Marco’s application. He has proven his technical
skills when packaging large, complex software such as gtk2hs. Further
more he showed that the can work in a team when he improved the
haskell-devscripts package. He has always been polite and patient. When
in one instance it turned out that he has been working in a direction
that was not consensus in the Haskell-Debian-Community, he showed no bad
feelings and immediately started to support and implement the consensus.
Marco has attended DebConf 9 and thus has gotten to know Debian also
from it’s personal side. He has shown serious, consistent interest in
Debian affairs, and I’m confident that he will be a valuable addition to
the Debian project.

Regards,
Joachim
