He has proven his technical skills when packaging large, complex software such as gtk2hs. Further more he showed that the can work in a team when he improved the haskell-devscripts package. He has always been polite and patient. When in one instance it turned out that he has been working in a direction that was not consensus in the Haskell-Debian-Community, he showed no bad feelings and immediately started to support and implement the consensus. Marco has attended DebConf 9 and thus has gotten to know Debian also from it’s personal side. He has shown serious, consistent interest in Debian affairs, and I’m confident that he will be a valuable addition to the Debian project.
