AM status for Krystian Wlosek?

Hi. I would like to know what is the status of NM process for Krystian Wlosek?

I'm his advocate and sponsor for his packages for 2 years. Krystian do
all the best for his packages and it would be much easier if he has an
access to Debian infrastructure.

I can't contact his AM, Anibal Monsalve Salazar. I didn't receive any
reply for a month.  I understand, he can be busy. But I don't
understand, why the NM process is so long and took 2 years already?!

I understand that NM process prevents bad unix programmers to became
Debian developers (but why only unix programmers could be Debian
developers? it is offtopic here). I don't understand, why it is so
long process...
