Presumably such a developer would at least be active on a mailing list
or handling bugs, and thus would be seen in the last 6 months with by
echeolon [ideally with a signed mail.]
But in either case such a developer would respond to the "are you
alive" ping within the timeframe required.
There is no mechanical problem so difficult that it cannot be solved
by brute strength and ignorance.
