Philosophy and Procedures
-------------------------
Eric could explain why free software and the Social Contract / DFSG are
that important for Debian. He investigated a bad license and told me
what is wrong about it. He also explained how we currently deal with
software not complying to the DFSG.
Tasks and Skills
----------------
Eric made two packages, quadra and giblib, which are both sponsored by
me. There are no lintian warnings for them and I didn't find any errors
either. One of them, quadra, is already in the archive, and he has
already updated the package once to a new upstream release. giblib is a
library package, current sitting in incoming to be added to the
overrides file. In addition, he answered some simple questions to my
content. I am sure that Eric will make a good Debian developer!
