Package: bplay Version: 0.991-8 Severity: normal When bplay is used for recording .wav files, it always returns a 255 error code, even when it works correctly. It should return zero on success. $ brec -t 4 xxx.wav >foo 2>bar $ echo $? 255 $ Looking at the code, I suspect that it returns -1 pretty generally on success, and the problem is not restricted to .wav files. The problem also occurs with bplay. This messes up all kinds of shell scripts, of course. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-1-686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages bplay depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-16 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an -- no debconf information
