I had to concentrate and try to remember why I hadn't updated Blender already in the past and I recalled something connected to minizip; and in fact:

an issue I opened back in April 2024, when I tried to update OCIO to v2.3.2 because Blender already bumped the minimum requirement to build ok.
But I'm still stuck there because of lack on motivation (packaging yet another minizip version just for OCIO and Blender is a bit overkill) and time (life goes on).

So, feel free to help me getting rid of this PITA, really. ;-)
I must admit I hadn't paid a visit to see if Ubuntu fixed that same issue somehow in the meanwhile. Let me know, in case.
