After 2025-09-02 update, my mpv installation was perfectly functional. After
update on 2025-09-04 (at about 06:00 UTC), mpv crashes at startup :
charpent@brique:~/Vidéos/Établi$ mpv
mpv: symbol lookup error: mpv: undefined symbol: ass_configure_prune
This also happens when trying to open an existing, already tested Matroska file
or a DVD disk :

The name of the missing symbol makes me suspect a problem with libass9, which
