The new release happened this morning. Sadly it include a SONAME change
due to some public interfaces changed constness. I uploaded the new
package to experimental a few hours ago, and it is currently in NEW.
If I understand this correctly, the SONAME change trigger the need for a
transition, which is no longer accepted at this point in the release
process, without prior approval by the release team. Anyone interested
in running such process.
I guess an alternative is to revert the constness and SONAME change and
upload an edition without the need for a transition, but it would make
the Debian edition slightly incompatible with the official 1.2.0
release, which seem like a bad idea.
