The issues are related to test failures, i.e. the compilation part of
the build succeeds, but the test suite fails for certain tests.

I'm not sure how important these tests are. I know Debian maintainers
have disabled tests in the past due to build failures on less common
architecture, but I don't know where the line is drawn. In case it
helps, the test failures can be grouped as follows:

  arm64, ppc64el, riscv64, s390x:
     36 - test_geom-pathstroke (Failed)
  
  arm64, i386, ppc64el, riscv64, s390x:
    333 - cli_pdfinput-font-spacing_check_output (Failed)
    335 - cli_pdfinput-font-style_check_output (Failed)
  
  s390x
    347 - cli_pdfinput-multi-page-sample_check_output (Failed)

Gianluigi already reported the failure for test #36 to lib2geom, as
above.

I don't know what the maintainers would like to see happen with
333/335/347.
