Bug#990954: Info received (kodi: crashes on older hardware)

I watched some videos after on YouTube, and apparently, this is some defense mechanism against viruses, because in a video, I saw, it said that when using Kodi with add-on, the Firewall could actually block access, and in the case of Linux, closing Kodi, I don't know if this would really be the problem, because I used Firewalld,  gufw or ProtonVPN to be able to access it.

Your statement seems unrelated to bug #990954. Can you please elaborate
on how ProtonVPN and Firewalld affects kodi? Please also state which
version of kodi fixed the issue.

Thanks,
Sven
