Bug#1089089: no menu in KDE Wayland Session (w/ workaround)
Package: audacity
Version: 3.7.0+dfsg-1
Severity: normal
Hi,
audacity, using wxwidgets, does not show its menu in a KDE session that
is running with the Wayland compositor and is thus quite unuseable.
A possible workaround is to set GDK_BACKEND=x11 prior to calling
audacity.
The Debian maintainers might want to take measures to have this set in
the menu integration, if possible. Until this is fixed, users can do
this and invoke audacity from a terminal.
Greetings
Marc
