Bug#1085963: libmypaint-common: message catalog for Norwegian Nynorsk installed in wrong location
Package: libmypaint-common
Version: 1.6.0-2
Severity: minor
Tags: l10n
X-Debbugs-Cc: bruno@clisp.org
Dear Maintainer,
The message catalog for Norwegian Nynorsk is installed in
/usr/share/locale/nn_NO/LC_MESSAGES/libmypaint.mo .
This has the effect that for users who set LANGUAGE=nn
(per the documentation at
https://www.gnu.org/software/gettext/manual/html_node/The-LANGUAGE-variable.html)
the message catalog is not found.
Norwegian Nynorsk is spoken only in Norway;
therefore there is no point in storing the message catalog only in
/usr/share/locale/nn_NO/ and not under /usr/share/locale/nn/ .
The file should be moved to
/usr/share/locale/nn/LC_MESSAGES/libmypaint.mo .
