Bug#1031088: mpv: Consider adding compress exceptions for .conf files in /usr/share/doc/mpv

Dear Maintainer,
When I search for default configuration templates in order to customize
mpv, I find basic configuration files, like mpv.conf and input.conf, are
in .gz format. Though files in /usr/share/doc have the resposibility for
facilitating user's document reading, but in my view, .conf files are not
actually *documents*.
In fact, there're raw .conf files in /usr/share/doc/mpv
(e.g.mplalyer-input.conf). So I guess something more could
be done.
Is it possible to add some exceptions for dh_comporess not to
compress .conf files? Or just put these files in system-wide
location like /etc/mpv to serve as default configuration.
