Version: 1:6.9.0+ds0-2+b1
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

In case you didn't notice yet, Ardour 7.0.0 has been released on October
15th. Since I wanted to give it a go, I thought I'd try to upgrade to
the last upstream release.

So I created a MR on salsa for you to review:

https://salsa.debian.org/multimedia-team/ardour/-/merge_requests/4

It's still in Draft since there are a few things to fix still (check
TODO section in changelog). I intend to fix them before removing the
Draft tag.

Of course, feel free to beat me to it, add commits before merging, remove the draft tag and just merge and work from there; or cherry-pick what you want…

I tried my best to stay consistent with the previous work / team rules,
but I'm new to these packages, so I might have missed stuff.

HTH,
