Bug#1001937: lots lots lots of crashes

Version: 1.1.1-2+b1

The new inkscape version crashes very very often (every few minutes). 
Here's a simple way to make it crash:
- load the attached file
- select "wall" object in layers/object pane
- go to edit menu > copy
-> inkscape crashes...
