It looks like there's a lot of cruft in debian/rules override_dh_auto_configure.
Perhaps it's a good idea to go through all of the current options in
CMakeLists.txt and see if we can improve?

Feel free to provide tested patches for it.

Patches are *always* welcome ;-)
