Hi!

If it is not a mainstream architecture Team Kodi's PPA supports on Ubuntu,
OR there is official request from Debian (which goes through me bc I am
Team Kodi member since the beginning of the month), and there is no
bug in 19.x, unlikely it will be ported to a bugfix 19.x branch.
You should think of 19.x as Debian stable :) Bugfixes and only them.
However, to be honest, I took the responsibility to backport some big fixes
that are even not merged in master (cdatetime for example).

If we diverge +deb11u1 and go stable-bpo / oldstable-bpo-sloppy way,
then it is OK to have your fix in 19.x. If not, let's expect with 20.x nightlies.
I am not sure if I manage to achieve my goal on delivering timely updates
to all Debian users even for Kodi, not speaking of add-ons, so I am now
trying to find a strategy that minimizes time to user :)
>Ok thanks. Do you have a rough idea when is 20.x planned?
Atm, not even roadmap that I have seen in internal team space :(--
