Probably, we could already do that (though not these few days as I need
0.92.5 to stay there).
Upstream told me that they plan on doing the final release in May and
they released an RC yesterday.

Please just go ahead and feel free to break inkscape's Recommends.  They
are only for the extensions, and don't really impact the core
fuctionality of the program.  Also, unstable and testing can just stay
broken for a little while anyway.
