Bug#933372: Installed sox fails test suite

Package: sox
Version: 14.4.2+git20190427-1

After building and installing the current SoX package, running the
"installcheck" target fails with the following error:

ok     channels=1 "ima" <--> "au".

Might one of the many Debian patches applied to the source have broken
HCOM format support?
