Hi Mark,

thank you very much for the patch. Indeed, I have been bitten by this
myself before, but was reluctant to write a patch, because I somehow
assumed the hard sample rate limit was required internally.

However, I don't think this is a Debian-specific problem and thus not an
issue in which we should divert from upstream. Would you please take your
patch to the upstream issue tracker at their Github page?
