Hi All, Whilst updating Hexter because of some annoying little bugs that I would like to fix in Ubuntu Studio, I ran into a problem building the new version of the package. Upstream have made some changes to the build system for the latest release, and my lack of autotools foo is letting me down. Before I take it upstream (I see online that Gentoo have the same problem) I wonder if one of the gurus here can help fix the issue so I can take it upstream with a patch? The build failure can be seen here: https://salsa.debian.org/multimedia-team/hexter/-/jobs/143998 The tail end of the log: dh build dh_update_autotools_config dh_autoreconf libtoolize: putting auxiliary files in '.'. libtoolize: copying file './ltmain.sh' libtoolize: You should add the contents of the following files to 'aclocal.m4': libtoolize: '/usr/share/aclocal/libtool.m4' libtoolize: '/usr/share/aclocal/ltoptions.m4' libtoolize: '/usr/share/aclocal/ltsugar.m4' libtoolize: '/usr/share/aclocal/ltversion.m4' libtoolize: '/usr/share/aclocal/lt~obsolete.m4' libtoolize: Consider adding 'AC_CONFIG_MACRO_DIRS([m4])' to configure.ac, libtoolize: and rerunning libtoolize and aclocal. libtoolize: Consider adding '-I m4' to ACLOCAL_AMFLAGS in Makefile.am. configure.ac:6: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
