I don't see what this has to do with YOUR job. The package has stayed for
months in NEW and probably this dependency went away in the mean time.
That's pretty unfair to call this a justification for a rejection since I am
not responsible for the delay you had to look at this package.

Where is it written that *all* copyright notice have to be written ?
So far, the license is require, but the full listing of all copyright has been
discussed regulary, and I don't think that there is a consensus about this.
It took me quite a long time to go through all the files and add each licence.
I even filed bugs in a lot of package when I discovered there was a specific
licence for the GSM160. This copyright notice was probably one of the best
I've ever done so far.
All in all, this rejection is clearly abusive. It is not justified AT ALL by
any violation of the Debian Free Software Guidelines.
I know you have a lot of work as FTP masters, but in this precise case, I
believe you FAILED to do it properly.
