Package: vcf
Version: 0.0.5-5
Severity: normal

the vcf ladspa filters are highly unstable, when changing parameters. unfortunately the
author told me in a private mail, that he doesn't maintain the plugins any more ... i'm
not sure, if there are any quality standards that debian packages must match, but i
personally consider this package as broken (and unusable) and would propose to remove
the package from debian.

The vcf package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/462765 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
