RFS: japa
Hi,
(posting from outside, so please CC me when replying)
I recently sent the message below to -mentors, but after some initial
replies nobody seems interested in this package. As this package is
usable with jack and jack seems to be maintained by -multimedia I now
forward this RFS to you, for hopefully someone is interested in using
and sponsoring this package. It is basically about doing a frequency
analysis on an audio stream using alsa or jack.
Thanks in advance
Helmut

Dear mentors,
I am looking for a sponsor for my package "japa".
* Package name : japa
Version : 0.2.1-2
Upstream Author : Fons Adriaensen <fons@kokkinizita.net>
* URL : http://www.kokkinizita.net/linuxaudio/
* License : GPL 2+
Section : sound
It builds the single package "japa":
Description: JACK and ALSA Perceptual Analyser
Japa, is a 'perceptual' or 'psychoacoustic' audio spectrum analyser. Possible
uses include spectrum monitoring while mixing or mastering, evaluation of
ambient noise, and (using pink noise) equalisation of PA systems.
.
It supports up to four audio inputs of which two can graphically be compared.
Additionally a pink noise and white noise generator is running after starting
japa.
Checked with lintian, but linda barfs because of 434989.
Closes ITP: 435583
dget http://subdivi.de/~helmut/debian/pool/main/j/japa/japa_0.2.1-2.dsc
I would be glad if someone uploaded this package for me.
Helmut
