Bug#424891: audacity uses ~100% CPU on startup

Hi,

when starting up audacity, it uses 100% CPU without doing anything. It doesn't
matter if I use ALSA or JACK. If you can't reproduce this, I can describe my
setup in more detail. Just ask.
