dvb-s (Hauppauge) doesn't work

Hello,

I hope this is the right list for my questions. If not, please
point me the right one.

I bought a DVB-S TV card from Hauppauge without an MPEG chip.
This card (WinTV NOVA-S) is identified with lspci

0000:00:0a.0 Multimedia controller: Philips Semiconductors SAA7146 (rev 01)
        Subsystem: Technotrend Systemtechnik GmbH: Unknown device 1016
        Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 32, IRQ 18
        Memory at dffffe00 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=512]

In the kernel (2.6.9 and 2.6.10) the modules for budget,
budget_av and budget_ci were build. Installing this modules
brought "kernel: saa7146: register extension 'budget dvb'" in
/var/log/messages.
But none of the frontends

Can anyone tell me what's wrong with this card/installation/...?
