This worked fine for a long time. Sorry about that, it was inadvertently changed when moving some sites from apache to nginx -- should be better now. TBH I don't think I even knew that people were using that name for that, as I don't think I'd noticed the addition of ftpsync-cron (in 2017 by the looks of it). Perhaps I should change the trace name to debian.hands.com, which is actually what the CNAME for ftp.uk.d.o points at, as it would have continued working as it happens, but I imagine someone else's scripts would then break. > Or best of all maybe we can finally be allowed to sync from a > syncproxy host so we can have a reliable upstream and not have to > repeatedly disappoint users with mystery issues like this stopping > updates every couple of years until somebody notices and guesses what > the latest upstream should be. Possibly better still: I do push mirroring and could add you to the list if you like, which would mean that I also get the chance to notice some of the things that can go wrong, and can then tell you about them.
